Privacy policy
This policy explains, in plain language, how Indian Betting ID handles your information. We keep things minimal on purpose — the less we hold, the safer it is for everyone.
What we collect
When you message us on WhatsApp we see your WhatsApp number and whatever you choose to tell us in the chat — for example, which platform you want and confirmation of a top-up. We only ask for what is needed to open and fund your account. That is it.
What we never ask for
We do not ask for your card number, OTPs, banking passwords or other sensitive financial credentials. Top-ups go through standard methods such as UPI that you control directly. If any message claiming to be us asks for those details, it is not genuine — please stop and check with us.
How we use your information
Purely to provide the service: setting up your ID, confirming balances, helping with withdrawals, and answering your questions. We do not sell your number, and we do not bombard you with marketing calls.
How we protect it
We keep conversations within WhatsApp, which is encrypted in transit, and we limit how much we store. Access is restricted to the people who help run the service.
Third parties
The betting platforms you use are run by separate operators with their own privacy policies and terms; we are an independent provider and not responsible for how those operators handle your data. Please read their policies when you open an account.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or stop messaging us at any time. Send us one message on WhatsApp asking for this, and we do it.
When this page changes
Any change to how we handle your details gets written into this page first. This version applies from 2026.
The short version, in one paragraph
We hold your WhatsApp number and whatever you typed into the chat. That is the whole of it. There is no account with us, no password stored anywhere, no identity documents on file and nothing financial at any point. We do not run a sign-up form, so there is no database of members. If you stopped writing tomorrow, the only thing that would exist is a message thread, and a copy of that already sits on your own phone.
Why we never touch the money
This is the part worth understanding properly, because it explains most of the rest. When you add a balance, the money goes from your UPI app or your bank straight to the platform. It does not pass through us at any point. We are not a payment processor, we do not hold funds, and we have no account for you to pay into.
That is deliberate rather than accidental. It means we never need your card number, never need a PIN, never need an OTP and never need banking access, so none of those exist in our hands to be lost, leaked or misused. It also means anybody using our name and asking you to send money to them personally is an impostor, without any doubt at all.
Privacy on a shared phone, which is mostly yours to control
Many households run on one handset, so this matters more here than any policy paragraph. What we do is limited: we never call you, we never add you to a group, and we never send messages you did not ask for, so nothing arrives on your screen unexpectedly.
What you control is more. Turn off message previews on the lock screen so no text shows without the phone being opened. Archive our chat between conversations. Do not let the browser remember your betting password. Log out at the end of a session rather than leaving the tab open. And if you send us screenshots, remember they sit in your own gallery too, which is where most people forget to look.
Where our part ends and the platform's begins
Once your account exists, the betting platform holds its own information about you: whatever it collected at sign-up, your bank details for withdrawals, your betting history and your balance. That is governed by their privacy policy, not by this page, and it is worth reading before you deposit rather than after.
If you want data deleted from a platform, or want to know what they hold, the request has to go to them directly, because we have no access to their systems and cannot act on your behalf. We can tell you where to send it and what to ask for. What we can delete is only what sits with us, which as explained above is not very much at all.
Privacy: your questions
What do you actually store about me?
Two things only: the number you message from, and the words you typed yourself. For most people those words amount to a sport and a request. There is no account with us, no stored password, no documents and nothing financial. We do not run a sign-up form, so there is no member database with your name sitting in it anywhere.
Do you ever see my UPI PIN or card details?
Never. Those details have no part to play in anything we do for you. Your money goes straight from your payment app to the platform without passing through us at any point. We are not a payment processor and have no account for you to pay into. Anyone using our name and asking for a PIN, an OTP or a card number is an impostor.
If I stop messaging, does the chat get deleted on its own?
Old conversations are cleared once they are no longer useful for supporting you, so a thread from years ago does not sit around. Nothing happens automatically the moment you stop writing, though. If you want it gone sooner, just ask. Remember a copy also lives on your own phone, and clearing our side does not clear yours.
Do you share anything with the betting platform?
Only what is needed to open your account, which is usually a name and a contact detail. Once that reaches them it is covered by their privacy policy rather than ours, so it is worth reading theirs before depositing. We do not send them your chat history, and we do not pass your number to anyone else for any reason at all.
Will I start getting marketing calls after this?
Not from us. We do not call, we do not run broadcast lists, and we do not sell or share numbers with anybody. If you start receiving unrelated betting calls, the source is somewhere else, and it is worth thinking about where else you have entered your number recently. We only ever reply in a conversation you started.
If I ask you to delete everything, what actually disappears?
The message thread on our side and anything we noted from it, which is not much. What does not disappear is the copy of the chat on your own phone, since only you can remove that, and anything the betting platform holds, which has to be requested from them separately. We will confirm what was removed and be honest about what was not.
Will you tell me everything you have on me if I ask?
Yes. Send a message asking for it, and add a rough date of your first contact so we can pull up the right thread. You will get a plain answer rather than a form to fill in, and most people are surprised how short it is. If anything we hold is wrong, tell us and it gets corrected. There is no charge.
My family uses the same phone. Is that a privacy risk?
It is the biggest one, and most of it is in your hands rather than ours. Turn off message previews on the lock screen, archive our chat between conversations, do not let the browser save your betting password, and log out properly at the end of a session. Also remember that screenshots you send us stay in your own gallery, which people usually forget.
Do you keep the screenshots I send you?
They sit in the conversation like any other message and get cleared when the thread does. We do not save them anywhere separately or build a file on you. Before sending one, it is worth checking what else is visible in it, since screenshots of payment apps sometimes show other transactions or a balance you did not intend to share.
Do you have to tell me if you start collecting something new?
This page would be updated first, with the change dated on it, because we would rather write it here than send an unexpected message to everybody. We do not plan to collect more, since holding less is what keeps this simple. If a change ever appears here that you are not comfortable with, that is a good reason to tell us and stop.
